I've never heard about the corpse reanimation, but what I've read about alchemists are that they worked to turn rock into gold. But even though turning things into gold is impossible, they contributed a lot to basic science! You mom? must have tried really hard?? with the whole birth thin g [?? ???? Sometimes a baby's heart is stopped at birth and needs to be restarted but they're technically 'dead' and they get revived and his mom is a scientist or something WHO KNOWS]
